We are broadcast journalists with decades of experience in television news, production and consulting providing news monitoring and clipping services.

News Duplicating Service was born in 1988, the off-shoot of changing times and the need for access to news stories in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.  Amy and Randy created and built a solid, reliable business, providing access to news archives.  The foundation for success is their commitment to personalized service.

In 2007, the company expanded to include a new division, News Direct Services, which reflects the latest technological advances in our industry.  In order to meet demand, they have been joined by Ruth and Andrew Shinnick to develop even stronger relationships in the U.S. and overseas.

AmyDavis - Managing Partner

Amy has been the brains behind News Duplicating Services since 1988.  As the Managing Partner, Amy is the force behind the transition from a tape-driven duplicating system into our new computerized, nation-wide, media monitoring division: News Direct Service.  Amy holds it all together with her perfected multi-tasking talents.

RandyDavis - Chief Technical Officer

Our technical guru, Randy is also an award-winning video journalist with over 30-years experience.  He’s covered some of the world’s biggest stories including the World Trade Center attack and the 1989 San Francisco earthquake.  He’s been honored for individual and team efforts with numerous “Emmys”, the prestigious George Foster Peabody and Edward R. Murrow awards.
